About Zach
After growing up in a small town in Central Missouri, I have been a primary resident of beautiful Northwest Missouri since 2004 when I moved to Maryville to play Baseball for the Bearcats. During my time at Northwest, God used some trials and difficulties in my life and athletic career to transform my heart and show me what it meant to fully surrender Jesus. One of the ways I lived that out was serving as a leader with NWMSU's FCA.
Upon graduation (and a few detours) I ended up teaching and coaching at a rural school in the area. After 7 years in education and 6 in coaching, I answered the call to join FCA as field staff in the Summer of 2018.
I feel as though God has engineered this position for me having been a college athlete, HS and JH coach, an educator, and an umpire all in Northwest Missouri.
It brings me no greater joy than to share the Love of Jesus with people and see lives transformed through God's word! It is my desire that all the coaches and athletes have the opportunity to hear and respond to the Gospel and have their lives transformed by Jesus!
My family and I live in Maryville, Missouri with my Wife Katlynn of 13 years, Piper (10), Silas (9), Brooks (6), Joelle (3), and our twin boys Ezekiel (Zeke) and Knox who arrived on November 25th of 2022.
If you have any questions or comments, please reach out to me using the "Contact NWMO FCA" tab to let me know how I can serve you!
